African Monday

Delaware African Student Association, a group that I am apart of at University of Delaware is the best! every year we put on an event that showcase what Africa is All about, this year we had fashion shows, plays, music, dances, poetry, and food to say the least! But I always look forward to it every year because its a time the group come together and shows the campus and people of the community a little of what Africa is about.

 This is one of my African attire that I wore at one of the fashion shows!

I wore this at my lovely sister's traditional wedding! Now she the cutest little boy I have ever seen!

I love the outfits my sister picked out for her traditional wedding. Although it was hot like some nonsense that day with no air conditioning in the room we had to wait in, it was on of the best days that I had been to!

Dance under the Sun

Today has been the worst day to do work! I have been sitting in the library for four hours and I am still on the same page of my adult health powerpoint! Maybe its because it's partly because I just want to be outside enjoying the warm weather again or because its legit hard information! I think it might be a combination of both! But hopefully I can finish studying for it tonight though. The count down to my finals is getting shorter and shorter....

I worked over time the last two nights so I've basically been running on the one hr of sleep that I took this morning! So being that I have finals and NLN tests that I have to take I just felt empty and ready to sleep the rest of the month away. I eventually dragged my body to the library with the motivation of my  friend Gina, but we didn't last that long there because I was getting too tired and she had a splitting headache...somehow on the way from the library to the car we ended up spending an hr just taking pictures and being silly! It was nice to not be stressed about school for a while and just relax!

African Monday
